Mad, scary and bad

Surviving the walk to school each morning

About this blog

Picture of meHello, I’m Matthew Theobald.  I live near Stapeley Broad Lane school, just outside Nantwich in Cheshire. Every day (well, except for torrential rain) I walk my daughter to school, sometimes taking our lives in our hands. Over the past four years the journey has become worse and more dangerous. So, until things get better, drivers take some responsibility for their behaviour, I’ll be blogging most school days.

If you are concerned about the safety of children on our roads; follow my blog, comment on postings, email your photos (hello@trafficchaos.org.uk), tell other people, point them to this blog.

Maybe together we can help get things improved.

Maybe we can help make the journey to school safer for our children.

Just heard the fantastic news – WELL DONE!
A huge sigh of relief from a very grateful parent.
Sincere thanks for your efforts, congratulations to all involved with submitting pics, video and attending today’s hearing. Let’s hope they can get started on the building phase asap.
