Mad, scary and bad

Surviving the walk to school each morning

‘Tis the season to be jolly….

A crisp, sunny, cold winter’s morning for our walk to school.  Cold enough to give us rosy cheeks, to see our breath misting in front of us.  Today marks the 50th post on my blog, and more than 5000 visitors.  Thank you for your continuing interest and support.

Thankfully, a lengthy stand off between the two stationary lines of traffic was resolved by neighbours nearer to school.  They calmed down fraying tempers, persuaded people to reverse out of trouble, averted a potentially massive jam and a dangerous situation.

Return of the zig-zags

There was a car blatantly parked on the zig-zag lines right outside the school entrance.  As I took this photo, a local resident commented “Oh yes, they’re often parked there during the day.”

Today’s scores out of 10:
Traffic volume: 9
Stupid/careless parking: 0
Manners: 7
No. of cars parking illegally:0
