Mad, scary and bad

Surviving the walk to school each morning

Last chance saloon

Yesterday it was the turn of cars, today it’s the lorries.

At least with a lorry, there’s not really much chance of a standoff with cars.  A path was quickly made for this second lorry, which still struggled to get through, mounting the kerb.

The road seemed about the same as yesterday, with cars arriving a bit later than last week to drop off children.  People still find they park a long way from the school, right along Broad Lane in both directions.

I asked a resident who lives to the north of the school how it had been outside their house this week.  They said it’s worse than ever.  People are still parking across our driveway, even though it has a white line.  We couldn’t even get out  yesterday.”  So no improvement for them.

Last chance…
